Where does the name lidd come from?

This is a question that gets asked a lot.

The answer is really quite simple:

lidd is the acronym for Leigh, Ian, Debbie and Daniel.

All members of my family.

(The name lidd was dreamt up during a hot sleepless summer night, at about 4am if I remember correctly, many years ago.)
