Rates

The following is a guide to lidd Consulting's rates.

For lidd Consulting's support, installation, configuration and maintenance services, lidd Consulting charges £25.00 per hour/£175.00 per day. Please contact lidd Consulting for a quotation for any support requirements.

lidd Consulting normally provides quotations for web site and software development depending on what is required. Before any work commences a quotation is provided and the price is agreed between the Client and lidd Consulting.

lidd Consulting is also open to joint ventures, partnerships or profit share schemes with other parties for mutual benefit, subject to agreed terms. If you have a proposal of this nature, please contact lidd Consulting, in confidence, to discuss further.

Should the Client wish to engage lidd Consulting on an hourly or daily rate for web site or software development, then the following rates apply, depending on what is required and the complexity involved:

• For a static web site (ie. a "shop window" type of site with very little or no user interaction) lidd Consulting charges £25.00 per hour/£175.00 per day;
• For a dymanic web site (ie, a site that has varying content depending on user choices, or involves flash animations, or includes some complex programming) lidd Consulting charges £30.00 per hour/£210.00 per day;
• For any bespoke software project lidd Consulting charges £30.00 per hour/£210.00 per day.

The followiing examples give the reader a guide to the prices that lidd Consulting would charge to develop a web site or software application:

• To develop a site with a few static fairly straightfoward web pages with about 10 pages consisting of simple graphics and text, layout and stylesheets (eg. this site) would cost approximately £350.00 - £500.00;
• To develop a complex e-commerce site involving several hundred pages with a supporting database, flash animations, secure pages, search engine optimization, server-side scripting and other advanced features (e.g. Villas Palm Island) would cost in the region of £12,000.00;
• To develop a complex software application (such as the "Archive Search System" as descibed on the Software page) would cost approximately £1,500.00.

Note the above prices are intended as a guide only and are not to be used as a formal contract between the reader, lidd Consulting or any third party. Please contact lidd Consulting for a quotation for the development of web sites or software applications.

The above rates are effective from 1st April 2009, and supercedes any previously published rates.
The above rates exclude any expenses during the course of any business with Clients, and any expenses incurred are charged to the Client.
The above rates are subject VAT at the current rate and may change without notice.
